I messaged your blog posted on NEAATO, but found out this is your real blog.

Haha, interesting post about AsianAve. I think Asian Americans are given too much credit about attaining higher education degrees as a regular deal. I’m sure there are many Asian American drop outs as well.

I also think how clever it is about how you’ve blacked out all of the other folks’ eyes, and usernames. Reminds me of some kind of asian tabloid or something.

I like what you have to say on this blog post in general. To be honest, I wished there were more outspoken women in general on AsianAve, but I doubt that would happen anytime soon. A shame that members like yourself come and go. It's like it doesn't engage you long enough to consider staying. I still use AsianAve even though I know it has a long ways to go, but I believe in potential. Since we're in the digital era, I think it'll be interesting to see where it goes down the road.

HAHAHAHA to Bertie. And why didn't you want to be their friEnd, Bertie, why?

To add to all this, I searched through old archives of blogging entries and here's a fun exchange between a 22 year old me and a 43 year old him:

Message in my inbox on MySpace:

From: Marc

You look meek, demure and HOT.
Has anybody told you that you have very pretty eyes?
-- Marcus

I reply with:

Dear Marcus:

You know, my father is a few years older than you. So if you're really desperate, I'm sure he wouldn't mind introducing you to a few of his female friends. At least they'll be closer to your age than me. Good luck with life. I'm sure it'd fare better if you'd cease calling women "meek, demure and HOT."

Sincerely,
Overbearing, Impetuous, and COLD.

From: Marc

It was supposed to be a compliment.
