You seem to be overblogging and making useless arguments that still doesnt convince the average reader. Youre going in circles trying to sell apricots grown in asia when what you are actually selling is an apricot from the pacific islands.

Let me tell you a story……………

We will group soloman/papua people together with asians in exam checkboxes and etc. Will they take the opportunity and call themselves asians and neglect their association and history with the pacific islands? Afterall there is alot of history with soloman/papua and se asian, and their genetics can be traced to se asia. They also do eat rice and have filipino pottery skills.They can actually get away with it and claim that the filipinos also have dark skin/accent/etc like them and so why cant they also be called asian.

My guess is that…….Once everyone in america starts to accept that soloman/papua are asians, we'll start seeing “soloman asian american magazines and tv shows” in america. And it'll spiral out of control with superficial claims of why soloman/papua are asians.

I think this is a good experiment. Only if I had the power to group people together in america.

How about forgetting what We, (or other people that are curious to know,) Filipinos want to be called. How about looking at the land where Philippines lay on the map. At that point, then we make our choice what we want to be called as far as categorization. Although in the end we’d still be a Filipino. Read on:

Who were the ones that stated NO, Filipinos are not Asian? I’m reading different, including the fact that Bo herself adknowledges that Filipinos can and are considered as Asian. In fact, reading some comments that I missed…it seems like I am preaching to the choir.
