This is the biggest "crock of chit" I've ever heard. The shortages of nurses coupled with the poor working environment is the reason why this occurs. Let's put the shoe on the other foot and see what happens when they are terminated for no just cause....can the nurses sue the hospitals for jeopardizing the children as well? This is BS!! Take care of the nurses and things like this won't happen....duh!

This sounds familiar. You sign up for work and then when you get there, you end up with different duties and get trapped.

Like it or lump it.

Reminds one of the Filipino construction workers who signed up for work, in one country, but ended up in Iraq.

The fact that these nurses, are immigrants, gain them less rights compared to American citizens.

They know this fact and it must have been some extraordinary circumstance that would make them break their contract.
