I just saw one of CareerBuilder.com‘s new ad which I thought was funny, titled “Self-Help Yourself.” What caught my eye is that the only speaking character in the commercial stars an Asian-American adult male, “Larry,” who hates his job:
Wherever Larry walks, he sees an image of himself telling himself to find a new job or others enjoying their job. I can’t seem to recall any commercial staring an individual Asian American male on U.S. television – can you?
For those of you who are old enough to remember, we’ve come a long way, since the Calgon detergent’s “Ancient Chinese Secret” days:
