Miss Washington acts her age

| |

Go figure. I suppose the TMZ staff never had a normal life outside of work. Or school. Or just normal.

At least, that seems to be the implication if you take a look at the latest on Elyse Umemoto, Miss Washington 2007. TMZ shows her giving the camera the bird, and making sexual type signs with her friends but all in all mild mannered photos when you consider that probably most of MySpace and Facebook photos are of similar acts. No nudity, and no sex video. Nothing illegal either.

For a woman in her twenties out with her friends, it’s nothing if not obvious to see photographs such as these. Maybe it’s just me, but I find it kind of moronic that TMZ would even bother with this. Oh wait. It’s TMZ.

What next?

  • Bwahahaha.

TMZ says she was “making suggestive oral sex gang signs”

Nice choice of wording there, TMZ.

  • If she wasn't doing 'bad' things then TMZ would have nothing…..but instead she was acting like a low life which is shameful……ashamed 4 u-L.A.asians

  • Yes she was displaying behaviour that's typical of her age group but unfortunatly for her she's not the typical person for her age. She should have known that she would under heightened scrutiny, especially after the Ms. Teen USA and all the other Pageant rehab scandals last year. Like it or not honey your held to higher standard now, while your wearing that crown you should try harder to live up to that standard. Don't go in the pool if you don't want to get wet.

  • Typical her age? I believe that it is typical moronic and classless behavior. I liked TMZ's spin as I found it amusing at the most. I wouldn't worry much about TMZ as much as I worry about a society that condones or relates to this behavior as the standard. Typical? I don't think so as I believe I am in her age rage. But everyone is entitled to their opinion and acquired tastes. I for one could never understand why people flip off the camera in every setting.

  • I've always believed that people should behave with a bit of dignity and decorum. Especially so for a “Miss Washington”. Now, this is not to say that she is not a great person or otherwise. – The photos are playful and are NOT A BIG DEAL. But they are tacky, tasteless and undignified. – Heck, way to go “Miss Washington”! Thats a great way to perpetuate the “stereotypes”. (I bet her BF is a white guy!!!) –ooohhh!!

It is interesting how you got sorta offended by TMZ's coverage.
