		<description>John, what they actually do is use the coins and turn them into necklaces/bracelets and not melt them down.  I actually had the same thought myself.   

Edward Moy stated that one of his mom&#039;s prized possessions was a bracelet made entirely from US gold coins and I guess that was part of the inspiration to make them as a set of two instead of 1 big 1 oz. coin.</description>
