Quest Crew won, because they were the better dance crew. The Beat Freaks didn’t have full flares (Shorty drags her leg), didn’t “pop” as hard as Quest, and doesn’t have as good acrobatics. They also aren’t as good at creating an entertaining “show” since Quest’s members are more artistic in mind. The only episode they owned Quest was the “Magic” show, because they had the best prop. The floating ball did most of the work! Breaking requires strength, and the Freaks just didn’t have enough. Their most powerful move was a headspin, which is nothing compared to an air-flare… on your f*ck*ng elbows!

The “hip hop decathlon” was where it showed that Quest Crew was better. They owned in all of the “sections,” some not as much, but especially in krumping, threading, and tutting. And what was with only one of the Freaks doing the entire housing part? The five dance styles are somewhat “key” in modern hip-hop dancing… if you can’t handle them as well as the other crew, you aren’t the better crew.

The only thing Beat Freaks beat Quest Crew at, was when Mario was going to announce the winner, they were tougher and harder than Quest Crew. You could see QC shaking, praying, and hyperventilating. With BF, they just stood there looking stone cold straight ahead all hardcore. I have to give them props for that!
