Nancy Kwan gets a lot of crap for Suzie Wong, but I think she played an important role as a sex symbol in the 60s. To see some of the things she did may be cringe-worthy now, but her being cast in lead roles is better than the common practice of yellowface in films.

OMG, I remember "Noble House" as a Richard Chamberlain TV mini-series, though I do not remember actress Nancy Kwan and cringe as she used the word "oriental."

For the record, I knew I was gay because when I was eleven or twelve I would go around reciting that one line of hers over and over again with a terrible Chinese accent: "if your fwiends don't ACCUSE you of having a facerift..."
I'll also never be able to get over the way she says "PEARL" as long as I live.
