OMG, I remember “Noble House” as a Richard Chamberlain TV mini-series, though I do not remember actress Nancy Kwan and cringe as she used the word “oriental.”
Nancy Kwan gets a lot of crap for Suzie Wong, but I think she played an important role as a sex symbol in the 60s. To see some of the things she did may be cringe-worthy now, but her being cast in lead roles is better than the common practice of yellowface in films.
