Although I haven’t seen Bai in film, from what I gather, her image in crank seems to perpetuate the false stereotypes of Asian Americans. Again I have not seen the film so I cannot say with any legitimacy that this is really the case. But what are we as politically conscious asian americans supposed to do? Katherine notes that she’s certainly no role model, but she does have guts.
