I am a white woman in a serious relationship with a Korean man who is 3 inches (7cm) shorter than me. He is a great guy, really smart and hardworking, funny and generous, so why would I pass on a great guy like that just because of height? Silly.

Why would men prefer smaller women than themselves, wouln’d they produce smaller children? I always tought the stereotype was men like taller women.

It is been said that tall (5ft 9in and taller) people have better income such as in marketing because they look threatening and the perception of Asian men in English speaking countries is that being short is emphasized more with Asian men than any other race of men (other than maybe Pygmies). These negative perceptions needs to be unpopular and taboo sort of like blackface if English speaking countries want to move forward.

idk how i got to this page i was doing a search about genetics for a paper i am writing for class but i found this article interesting but anyways being a taller man white man i don't have this problem (I'm 6'6 my grandpa was 6'11 so i missed out a little lol) but i have a few friends who are short for men that are not Asian my friend Shawn is 5'1 Hawaiian / Caucasian but he is married to a woman taller than him a very lovely woman. my friend Chris is white and is maybe 5'3 and has never had a girlfriend and complains about it being about his height but i don't think that is the reason for his lack of success. i believe it is his lack of confidence because my friend Shawn never had this problem ever. his whole life he had girlfriends before i ever did even and i was over 6'0 by 14 and i believe it's because Shawn has always been very confident in who he was regardless of height where as Chris is quiet shy and has no confidence in himself idk just putting my two cents in. sorry I'm not the best writer definitely not my strong point lol
