<p>Actually, the Simplified Chinese movement was not started by the Communist, but they did push and make Simplified Chinese the standard written language after they did take power, which I do consider to be one of the government&#39;s greatest sins.</p>

		<description>I guess John you&#039;re Taiwanese-American. :)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I just hope they teach traditional first well.  Learning simplified first will relegate you to second-class Chinese user for ever.  Adopting simplified after learning traditional is easy, but not the other way around.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;That being said, Simplified Chinese is one of the greatest sin the Chinese Commies committed against the Chinese people.  It was created to ease the way for complete romanization of written Chinese, and after the disgusting plan was abandoned the mainland Chinese are stuck with this ugly, illogical script.</description>
