It's fascinating to me to see how the celebration of Diwali is growing in visibility and becoming part of the local fabric of life, at least here in Bay Area and Silicon Valley in particular. While I was running recently, I noticed a number of people in my neighborhood who put out Christmas lights - not for Christmas, but for Diwali! I have noticed this happening for the last couple of years.
