This guy knows next to nothing about Otaku culture and dare to write about Japanese games. It’s just another ignorant white person making self-righteous judgment calls against another part of Asian culture. He’s just doing what’s been doing for hundreds of years whenever white morons had a close encounter with an “inscrutable” part of Asian culture. The only thing is, I can see how he’ll get slammed by many white otakus for writing such a dumb piece. Dating Sims has bee part of Japanese gaming culture for years – in fact its the segment which kept the Dreamcast alive for years after production ceased.
