Frank H. Wu is Hastings Law School’s First Asian American Dean

The University of California Hastings College of the Law, the oldest law school west of the Mississippi, is getting Frank H. Wu as its first Asian American dean. According to the Chronicle, Wu changed his career plans from architecture to law as a teenager in response to the racially motivated murder of Vincent Chin, a young Chinese American man in Detroit in 1982.
