The Amazing Race – Ron & Christina are back!

It’s official – the new season (#18!) of The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business starts this coming Sunday, February 20th and pits former teams that came close to winning but ultimately did not. This includes the dad-and-daughter team Ron and Christina from Season 12, when they came in second. This will be a pretty tough race for all those competing, since this race is comprised of past almost winners! Personally, I think it will be tough for Ron and Christina unless he has gotten into better shape. You always want to start off with a physically strong team with endurance, and Ron looks to be the oldest or one of the oldest contestants in this race.

I have to hand it to the producers of The Amazing Race. They have had some great Asian American teams, with brother and sister team Victor & Tammy Jih winning, doctors Kat Chang and her friend Nat Strand making Amazing Race history by being the first all female team to win, as well as son and father team and YouTube sensation Kevin Wu (KevJumba) with his father Michael, as well as husband-and-wife team Joe and Heidi Wang.
