This Google Chrome video has been making its way around the Internet because if there’s one thing that people love to watch online besides porn, nut shots and/or cat videos, it’s touching but produced moments about Daniel Lee, an Asian American father, using Google’s technology to write sappy emails to his daughter to document her childhood.
If I sound bitter right now, it’s because I totally fell for this video and now I’m mad at my own dad for not doing this. Sure, Google didn’t exist back in the 80′s but COME ON, NOW. He had a typewriter at least, right? On second thought, his letters to me would have been something like “Don’t forget to do your homework,” “Why did you get detention in first grade for talking too much?” and “Stop saying ‘like’ so much.” So nevermind.
