mashbox MYX TV Pemieres MashBox Interactive Series With App

We iPhone users are spoiled. I use my iPhone to its fullest, including using the Starbucks app to buy drinks at Starbucks, another app to read magazines… sometimes I even use the magic 8 ball app when I can’t decide an answer to a yes or no question. Now, there is even a more interactive app for people who want to find out more about the hosts of a show they are watching, what the products the show is advertising, where to buy the song they hear on television, etc.

MYX TV premieres MashBox on May 21 with hosts Adrian Zaw and Grace Su. This show is the first interactive series featuring Asian American entertainment and celebrities. I had the opportunity to test out this app at the MYX TV/MashBox Premiere Event. In a nutshell, you can open the app as you are watching the show and tap on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch devices at any point of the show and it will provide any question you may have such as who is the host that is talking. You even see their IMDB, Facebook, and Twitter page. As for the products they are advertising, you can simply tap your iPhone’s screen and you can order the products you just saw and have it shipped it to your home. Even the restaurants they highlight on the show, you can find more information about the restaurants you may want to try.

There are many segments that are entertaining and even hilarious, including a show called Slant Rant by YouTube Star, David So. They also interview many Asian American artists.
