Anya Ayoung-Chee Is Second Asian Woman To Win Project Runway
What girl doesn’t want beauty and a good sense of fashion? Anya Ayoung-Chee apparently has both. She is the winner of Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe 2008 and the newest winner of Project Runway. American singer-songwriter and fashion designer Gwen Stefani is apparently launching a clothing line for kids called Harajuku Mini for Target, launching November 13th. I don’t know about you, but the kid below looks a bit too young to be dressing and posing as a hipster. Jason Wu To Launch Target Collection in February 2012
Jason Wu, best known for designing First Lady Michelle Obama’s Inaugural gown, will launch an exclusive collection with Target, following the likes of McQ Alexander McQueen, Zac Posen, Jean Paul Gaultier and Missoni: “Target has announced the collection will be available February 5 through March 6 of next year at most Target stores and Target.com. Prices will range from $19.99 to $59.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $49.99 for handbags and scarves.”
Club KT Shibuya Store Opens As DJ Hello Kitty Spins To Japanese Teenagers
In Japan, Sanrio opened Club KT Shibuya, a new store for Hello Kitty merchandise. But this isn’t your typical Sanrio shop. “Teenagers want to experience club culture for themselves, but they are not allowed to go into places where alcohol is served. By Idy Yuja Wang is a 24-year-old Chinese soloist, who performed this month at the Hollywood Bowl.
