Ang Lee’s film, The Life of Pi, is being released next week in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. The director, Suraj Sharma (who plays the boy Pi Patel) and Irrfan Khan (who plays the older adult Pi Patel) appeared on Charlie Rose this past week discussing the making of the film. The cinematography and visuals from the trailer alone make me want to see the film. Aside from The Hulk, I’ve enjoyed every one of Lee’s films– including Lust, Caution; Brokeback Mountain; Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Sense and Sensibility; Eat Drink Man Woman and The Wedding Banquet. I’d say my favorite is between Eat Drink Man Woman and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
