With flavors like apple-cinnamon chamomile and jade oolong with pomegranates, you’d have to be a zombie to not have your mouth water for a sip of Sugarbird Sweets’ artisan teas. The confectionery line was founded by Kei Okumura, whose experience working in the culinary world and travels around the world led her to create her baked goods, sweets and teas that focus on a unique blend of spices, fruits and textures. We’re a fan of her teas, (especially iced on a hot summer day) and now you can purchase a sampler of three loose tea blends ($10) for your brewing pleasure.
