Rosemead Police Kills Asian Woman Outside of Mental Health Clinic

Via the LA Times: “A woman fatally shot by a sheriff’s deputy after she wielded a hammer and screamed outside a Rosemead mental health clinic was identified Thursday as 40-year-old Jazmyne Ha Eng. … She appeared to be mentally ill and was holding a hammer as if ready to strike people outside the clinic Wednesday in the 9300 block of Valley Boulevard, witnesses said.” Similar things have happened in San Jose, where mentally ill Asian people got shot by police.
