Jeremy Lin Opens Up to 20,000 Taiwanese on Turmoil Under ‘Linsanity’ Hype

http://youtu.be/vnTK5tRnpdw?t=1h6m22s

NBA basketball player Jeremy Lin made his annual summer pilgrimage to Taiwan to visit family, have fun, teach at an annual youth basketball camp, and to speak at a religious youth conference:

“Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin shared his testimony at the ”Dream Big, Be Yourself” youth conference event in Taipei, Taiwan. Over 20,000 people attended the event, where Lin spoke on what God has taught him in the past year about his identity.”

Watch for yourself how Lin discusses his high’s and lows of this past season, his self-doubt and his faith in God. He speaks for quite a while – over 45 minutes, along with the help of a translator.

About John

I'm a Taiwanese-American and was born & raised in Western Massachusetts, went to college in upstate New York, worked in Connecticut, went to grad school in North Carolina and then moved out to the Bay Area in 1999 and have been living here ever since - love the weather and almost everything about the area (except the high cost of housing...)
