I don’t know how many of you are hardcore rockers, but Chi Cheng, the Chinese-American bassist for the Deftones and spoken word poet, is in a coma after a car accident in Northern California.
It sounds pretty bad, as the lead singer, Chino Moreno was stated as saying,
“I don’t know everything that’s going on — I just know it’s very serious. I’m on my way to be with his family, I’m pretty freaked out about it.”
I hope everything is okay. Any big Asian rocker dude wins points in my book. My significant other is sad about it, and therefore I promise to never make fun of him for listening to their albums ever again!*
