Sweedeedee Jerky

ABCs like me grew up on sticky sweet Jackson Market-type beef jerky. Delicious, yes, but there’s a new master now, and his name’s Sweedeedee.  Handcrafted in San Francisco by Troy Vadakan, Sweedeedee Jerky ($6 for 2oz, $45 for 16oz) is made with organic, grass-fed, Prather Ranch beef.  It’s dry, spicy, just a little salty, and completely addictive.  My 1/2 pound bag did not last even 2 days.

Find Sweedeedee at various Bay Area foodie fairs, or online.
