L.A. Giveaway: ‘Hangover 2’ Advanced Screening & Afterparty Tickets

UPDATE 5/20/2011 at 12:15am: Congrats to the winners: Al Pavangkanan and Bad Bunni. Remember, you can still attend the afterparty, more info at Audrey & KoreAm

If you can’t wait to see the highly-anticipated The Hangover, Part II, then pay attention! Our friends at KoreAm & Audrey Magazines are hosting a special pre-screening of Hangover 2 with an afterparty for the Asian American community on May 24th… and 8Asians is giving away some free tickets to our readers!

Hangover 2 is the sequel to 2009’s The Hangover. Starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Ken Jeong (in a return of his scene-stealing character Mr Chow), Hangover 2 brings the wolfpack to Thailand for a wedding. Stu (Helms) is now engaged to the sweet Lauren (Jamie Chung) and with the memory of the nearly disastrous Vegas bachelor party antics still fresh in their minds, Stu wants nothing to go wrong. But Phil (Cooper) wants Stu to have one low-key nightcap before the wedding, and Lauren encourages him to enjoy time with his friends, convincing them to bring her 16 year-old younger brother Teddy (Mason Lee) along with them, “guaranteeing” that nothing will get out of hand with a teenage kid in tow.

Lauren & Teddy’s parents, mother Joi and father Fohn, are played by popular Thai actors Penpak Sirikul and Nirut Sirichanya, respectively. Do they have any idea who their precious Teddy is out with?!

Hangover 2 doesn’t come out until Memorial Day weekend– May 26– but you can see it a few days early at this special advanced screening. For those who don’t win tickets to the screening, you can still attend the afterparty ($15-20 at the door) with celebs, food and booze! (More afterparty info at Audrey & KoreAm)

About jozjozjoz

jozjozjoz is a taiwanese-american gal who lives and blogs underneath the hollywood sign and who doesn’t clean her fishtank unless the fish starts to do the backstroke. she is also able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but cannot stop from bumping into door handles, cabinet doors, and anything else that protrudes or has a sharp edge. she does not run with scissors for this same reason. she can pet the fur off a dog but don’t ask her to go anywhere near a horse. or a moth. or a roach. her dealings with L.A.’s finest (aka the parking violations department) are legend, as are her giant sneezes. Other than the two too many joz’s, jozjozjoz is a perfectly normal, relatively sane individual who defies the odds, reaches for the stars, and carries moonbeams home in a jar. She’d rather be a fish… but not in her own dirty fishtank. http://www.jozjozjoz.com
