“500 Project” Looking For API Writer Activists in All 50 States

Asian American literary arts journal Kartika Review has joined with poet Bryan Thao Worra to launch the 500 Project: “We’re trying to collect at least 10 profiles of writer activists from each state, 500 total, to be featured on Kartika’s “500 Project” website. The project started from an inquiry on whether APA lit is still relevant today. Sure, the two coasts, California and New York are dense with APA writer activists, but what about the rest of the country?”

About Ernie

I'm the creator of 8 Asians and one of the editors. While I'm a regular blogger to the site as well, think of my role as Barbara Walters on "The View," except without the weird white hair. During the day, I'm a Developer for a major Internet company and live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've also been writing in my blog, littleyellowdifferent.com, for seven years.
