Asian and Asian American Women Vie for LGPA Lorena Ochoa Invitational

From Korea Times: “The Lorena Ochoa Invitational starts Thursday for a four-day run in Guadalajara, Mexico. In the past, Korean American Michelle Wie won this event in 2009 and Korea’s Kim In-kyung was victorious last year. This is the last regular competition on the LPGA Tour this year. World No. 1 and money list leader Tseng Ya-ni of Taiwan will also take part. The only three players from the top 10 who will be missing are Choi Na-yeon, and Ahn Sun-ju and Shin Ji-yai, but Pak Se-ri, Amy Yang, and Seo Hee-kyung will compete.”

About Mihee

Mihee lives in the Mid-West with her husband, toddler-aged twins (yes, terrible twos is actually a thing), and baby #3. Though her reserve of brain cells is seriously depleted she is still passionate about Asian American culture, religion and social justice for marginalized people, stories about Korea, sports, and power naps. During the day, she spends a lot of time trying to remember which baby needs to eat or get a diaper change, mentoring and ministering to college students, occasionally taking a walk, writing, watching Sportscenter, or grabbing coffee. You can read her blog here.
