So as many of you know, I have this unhealthy obsession for The Hunger Games. I actually think it’s a true story and I think the characters of Katniss, Peeta, and Gale are real people — just like Bella, Edward and Jacob are real people.
I am totally joking. I don’t think The Hunger Games are real (maybe just a little bit) — but I am totally excited for the new movie based on the Suzanne Collins novels about a dystopian world where the country is divided into 12 districts and is ruled by a tyrannically polite government. Each year, there is something called The Hunger Games where each district randomly picks one boy and one girl to go into an arena and they all fight for their lives, leaving one person standing.
Sounds fun, right? Well it gets even better because they have casted a couple of Asians into the mix! In fact, all of the characters look Asian in the brand new trailer that was released earlier this week. Check it out:
