Where Are The Asians In The Bachelor/The Bachelorette?
Following the heels of Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson, two African American football players who filed an entertainment lawsuit against ABC, executive producer Mike Fleiss, and The Bachelor/The Bachelorette’s production companies, I demand there be some fine Asian brothers and sisters to be represented in the show. This comes at a hilarious time as the 8Asians team received an email from an affiliated show’s casting producer:

I caught this Target commercial a few minutes after the most recent Target mom & daughter commercial. Like I blogged before, I’m not a big fan of the 18-second format commercial. Asian American Commercial Watch: Target’s “Flowers”
I just caught this Target commercial the other night. I find the little girl is quite adorable. I hope my niece remains just as cute as she grows up to this little girl’s age. David Chang’s Fried Chicken Taste Off On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon
Last Thursday, Chef David Chang makes another appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where Chang goes over a recipe for his fried chicken. Chang challenges Questlove, a member of Fallon’s Late Night band, The Roots, to a taste off with the judges being the Late Night anouncer Steve Higgins and guests of the evening, Tina Fey and John Slattery. Chang won the taste off.

Asian American Commercial Watch: Chinese American Couple In Honda Really Big Sales Event TV
When I saw the beginning and middle of this Honda television commercial, I was wondering – why is Honda showing a Chinese American couple speaking Mandarin in an English language commercial? Odd that the U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese auto manufacturer would be pushing the “foreignness” of a Chinese American couple.
